Hey there, got a wee question, if you don't mind. [:P] My 99 Turbo has a HKS induction filter that was on it when I bought it, do I need to oil it or do any maintanence with it at all ??

all help greatly appreciated

Hks induction kits are not generaly recomended due to the foam breaking up and getting sucked into the engine and maf sensor particularly on 99 my which are known for delicate mafs definately do not oil it as this also damages the maf better with a dry panel in a standard air box upto 350 bhp hope this helps.

This was on the car when I got it 6 months back, but I think I want to try and get a standard air box for it cause every time it's wet, and being in scotland this is fairly frequently, the motor just does'nt run as sweetly as it could.

I am convinced it's damp but have new sparkers to go in hopefully at the w/end.

I dunno, ahhhh the days of carbs and jets and a whopping big K&N poking through your bonnet [:P]

Standard air boxes can be picked up cheap but remember 99 is diferent from earlier models damp shouldnt affect running your plugs should sort that good luck.
