kaan_ors Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 I can't believe what good timing it was this morning to meet you all on the M25. I'd literally just joined at the Brands Hatch junction when I saw you all sneaking up behind me. It was an honour to lead Kent Scoobies into my home town!! [] I hope Granby noted my leadership skills as entry into the Wagon Squadron has yet to be confirmed! Lee, just got a glimpse of your car as I turned into my road, looked really good. [H] Hope you all had a great day and I'm sure I heard you all leaving at about 5pm.
Pele Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 I've just had an e-mail from a Mr Dunne saying what a nice display of cars we had on our stand [] and looking at the pictures I have to agree with him [] Well done to everyone who organised and helped out at this show, despite the weather. It's nice to see members coming together and organising shows like this [] Looking forward to being able to actually get along to some shows soon - and hopefully our stand will get bigger and better with each event we get under our belts [] Pele

Tony, Do you mean the optional 2.8i embossed front splitter!! - It did make me envious of the guy!! Thanks for arrangin it all m8. Glad I could be of assistance with the gazebo even if I didn't know how to put it together - so thanks to TVR for directions and big thanks to Trevor for helping me to carry it in from the gate. Looking forward to doing another show at somepoint. Nice to meet everyone I hadn't met before.
Guest leebo77 Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Lee, just got a glimpse of your car as I turned into my road, looked really good. [H] Cheers mate. We were a little way back in the convey and busy trying to work out where the additional wagon had come from!!

We were a little way back in the convey and busy trying to work out where the additional wagon had come from!! I was actually with you all the way but I had left my cloaking device on by mistake and didn't actually realise until I had got onto the M25. I wondered why no one had said hello at the Wharf!! Really, I'd been working Saturday night in the City but got in touch with Granby to find out what route you were all taking and because I got away a little bit early I thought that I would try and meet you all on the M25. The timing was spot on and a complete fluke. I wish I had a ticket now as I would have come over to say hello to everyone for an hour before going to bed. Perhaps next year.
rossyboywrx Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 thanks to everyone for a great day even tho i was getting loads of jealous looks cos i was wearing shorts in that baking weather[st] lol

I was certainly grinning all the way to Bromley with all the Scoobies behind me. I was well chuffed. It's quite an impressive sight seeing them all in your mirror. [H]
