Mako Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Just a wee note of remembrance as today is the 4th anniversary of the day Gary was laid to rest. For those of you who never knew Gary I am sure that some of us oldies will be able to tell you of how Gary was one of the most loved and respected members of the SIDC. An absolute nutter with the best sense of humour ever. Guaranteed to liven up any event with his familiar "Mcrae" donuts in the "Auld green taxi"[] One of the original Crailthrashers. Gary - An absolute gent, friend and so so missed[] Here's to you wee man[] Russ
scoobyseller555 Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Gary remains forged in our thoughts,Yvonne and i were up in Dundee at the weekend, and the wee man always crops up in conversation. For all of you that didnt know Gary he was the 'original life and soul of the party',i can remember the first time i met him with Tosh and Thomas,1996,he came strolling across to my impreza and his opening gambit was "funny lookin proton that" He then became a regular at most of the cruises including Strathy Park during its BIG TIMES(96,97,98,99)Knockhill and Crail, with his Reno fev turbo. Such a great guy to be around(but not at Santa Pod,when Gary and Swanny put a kipper under my tent,1997) Wee Gaz fi Dundehh -gone but never forgotten. Gav & Yv
