Anyone fitted an STI TMIC to their WRX ?

As above.

I was wondering if you had to change the brackets that you mount the intercooler on to. I've noticed that the WRX left hand mount (the one nearest the drivers side) has another mounting hole that is further away than the WRX intercooler mount and was assuming that this was for the STI TMIC but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Anyone advise me accurately ????

Believe it's just a bolt on job james. Problem comes from the diffuser underneath the scoop and the scoop itself. You really need to get the STI one to make the most of it, and they're not cheap.

Just get an FMIC instead []

that's what I thought but wanted to check. I've got both of the STI items so that's not a problem. With hindsight I should have saved my money and went for a FMIC but hey ho [:^)]

I rember i was looking at puting an STi intercooler on the UK300, and was told that as you said the extra hole to the left is for mounting a larger intercooler handy ahe lol, just rember youll also need a sti air diffuser or similar to make maximum use of your larger intercooler

I thought that's what the other hole was for but thought I'd better ask to be sure. Already got me an STI scoop and inner scoop so that's ok.

On another note, has Peter (Fai17) spoke to you yet about oil breather hose ? He has some left from fitting his catch can and I was going to be buying off him, he had mentioned that he could pass it on to you and we could meet up and do the deal rather than posting it out etc ???
