~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I used to buy "sneider" shades but have found that if you buy a decent pair you tend to look after them accordingly........had my current pair for 1 yr and the previous pair for 4 yrs....they are now back up in my wifes chariot. These are my current joabs ......... http://www.iddw.co.uk/files/t_16518.jpg CGS

scoobyiain Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Very nice shades cal. you pay for quality and it will last you, had my d&g's for 4 years now and not a scratch on them bought the prada's last year and still plenty life in them. It's like anything really if you pay good money you will get a good product
Fab 1 Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 Jeeze Mark, you admit too Next? Go to H&M far better range, and all designer. [Y] Glad you like the avatar, although with comments like that you'll find the painful end of the pitchfork [6] Not picked by Alan, had the avatar for a while now, called, young blonde with attitude [H] [] Jen
st3ph3n Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Got 2 pair of Nike ones. First pair I got in America 5 and a half years ago and they're fantastic. Excellent in all conditions as they have great lenses in them. I was in Costco last summer and they had some Nike ones for £20. Not as good as the first pair, but for that money they're perfect for leaving in the car. Got a few pairs of Oakleys too, but I bought them off a fellow in New York for $15 for 5 pairs, so as you can imagine they're not the best []
Fab 1 Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 Errr...........4 pairs. Sorry, Maths aint my strong subject. In my defence, I am blonde [:$] Jen
4Hero Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 rayban are my preferred choice, not the Avaitor type [] you do get what you pay for, had these for years now and still look like they did the day I bought them!
st3ph3n Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I think I've stood on a few of them. They were utterly crap, I think one of them lost a lens before we'd even got them home.
Fab 1 Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 Rayban's superb, defo a man of the 80's but nonetheless great poser specs [Y] Jen
4Hero Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I think I've stood on a few of them. They were utterly crap, I think one of them lost a lens before we'd even got them home. raybon's from the barra's are not quite the same stephen [H]
RA Dunk Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 ive still got a pair of them here someplace, were deffo the ones to have in the 80s 90s though
RA Dunk Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Very nice shades cal. you pay for quality and it will last you, had my d&g's for 4 years now and not a scratch on them bought the prada's last year and still plenty life in them. It's like anything really if you pay good money you will get a good product true, i paid 400 quid for a pair if armanni ones three or four years ago (with perscription lenses) and there still going very strong
4Hero Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 rayban do some pretty nice looking shades nowadays
Fab 1 Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 Hmmmm kinda........kind of nostalgia for the 80's folks though. Although Nothing wrong with that, since it was the Top Gun era [] Very good make of shades. Jen
