this thread was about the first meet of the year for sidc members in the south west region ,what has were sws begun got to do with it ???????

seems a bit perdantrick to me. why dont you get on with running your club as jaqs is trying to do with this one with out someone trying to claim her achievments as there own .we all know jaqs  built her/your club from nothing  .

In all due respect and from what I can gather, the SWS that Bob speaks of was formed 7 years ago and either merged with or formed what is known now as Scoobyzone. Now this might not be exactly right but like I said, its from what I can gather.

In February 2005, SP, Edmondo and Neil G set up what we know as SouthWestScoobies. Soon after that Louise Rat joined and about a month later Denise joined the group and the original forum(sws.net) was formed in July of that year. By late that year there had been a few arguments regarding control and Derek set up a new forum (SWS.org.uk). Obviously more recently there has been another set of arguments similar to those involved in the creation of SWS.org.uk and also a split from SIDC.

 

Sp and Louise were removed largely because they believed that SWS should stick to its roots, which not being the SWS that Bob spoke of were with SIDC.

 

Now that that’s out of the way I`d like to make one last request. Can all of the bitching stop NOW. We`re all supposed to be grown ups. If you don`t like something that’s said then unless you can add constructively, you should ignore it. It was decided by SWS advanced members that the club would break away from SIDC and those that didn`t want that stayed with SIDC. Louise and SP have their forums and SWS has its own.

 

Now can everyone please just get along.
