Turbo up pipe question.......?

can please some one tell me if the turbo up pipe is a crucial mod or
not, is it really required or not, what sort of performance gains can
you get out of oit?

 

do they increase turbo lag? sory can you also tell me what turbo lag means as i have forgotten the definition?

I think it's a UK classic (1998) but not sure about the year Russell

Kassam - do a google for "turbo lag" - some folk love a shove in the back half way through the rev range whereas as other want a instant kick. Best to minimise it in all honesty
