peter_reid
Car just painted lovely Mica Black. Went in to get a new front screen and they have chipped the paint along the edging strip. They said it must have been like that when it went in. Furious! Pete Link to comment

st3ph3n
Pete, someone else in here had Auto Windscreens do paint damage on their car. Get back in about them and get them told. Link to comment
peter_reid
Will have to wait till the New Year is past now. My Dad came with me as the car was dropped off 3 hours earlier. I created such a scene the guy was shaking! He was telling me that it was paint flake and how the paint process goes. My Dad told him he was talking crap and that's how he fits windscreens for a living. Definate screw driver jemmy! Will post after the new year how I get on. Pete Link to comment
thefastone
Personally, I use Autoglass, down by Morrison's on King St... Never had any problems with them, and they would always make a point of telling me of any possible problems, which was nice considering the corrosion that I had on the roof of the Shed™, they always made a point of saying "look, it might not seal properly" Never had a problem, but the workmanship I thought was fine also... Ive never really heard many nice things said about RAC windscreens... [:|] And I hope you get it sorted mate, It would be a real shame for all your efforts getting the car sprayed for them to mess it up! [:^)] Link to comment
