ANY TERZO OWNERS OUT THERE?

Just wondering if there are any terzo owners amongst us who could let me know of their experiences with the car. ive not had mine all that long and apart from some niggly faults with it , it seems to be fine, but just wondered if i need to look out for anuything in partricular with this edition.

any feedback would be gratefully received. its a 1998 r reg btw[Y] (no.54)

Hello there,

 

i've had my Terzo for just over 6 years. Its pretty much the exact same as most uk MY97 cars, so 2 be honest their pretty good. In the 6 years i've had my car i've only had to replace the clutch around 65k which cost £500 and shortly after that i had to get the synchro in 2nd rebuilt in the gear box along with the bearings replaced. This also came to around £500.

 

Apart from other general wear and tear items thats been it for 6 years worth of motoring, so can't be that bad!

 

Suppose it depend on how the car has been treated as they are getting on in age now

thanks for that stevie, its good to know. unfortunately i dont know how the car was treeated before i got it but obviously i wouldnt have bought it if i thought bit was a binner. only thing ive had to do was replace both front wheel bearings, and new timing belt. do you have any mods on it that you think may be worthwhile for mine, also what brake do you have?

had mines for now 9 months, no problems at all full service history, only 2 things i have done to it

 

1 full 3 inch apexi exhaust

1 ramair panel filter

Had mine for a year, sold it about 6months ago now, do miss it sometimes! Thot it might have made an appearance on here at sumpoint. No probs apart from rocker cover gasket needed replaced, it did pong a bit! Other than that the car was fine. Get some pics of urs up.

noticed another terzo a few weeks ago around 5-6pm turning into baljaffery road from duntooctor road near faifely, had to take a 2nd look as almost identical to mines, didnt catch the number plate tho
