Please, scoob failed badly on emissions due tho there being no cat and my mate taking it a garage where he doesnt know anyone.... plonker!

Doesnt need a brand new one, even one to borrow just for the test, obviously wud leave a deposit if needed!

and anymore tips on how to reduce emissions, don't think the car was warm, so gona tell hime to make them warm it before the test.

Dump valve was off, standard one back on

would a after market air filter alter the amount of emissions?? all sensors are fine!

any little screws that we could turn to alter anything??

I had an idea of putting low octane to retard the boost, would that reduce emissions? Its only gona be for the test, no driving involved!

I've still got my original downpipe and midsection if you want to borrow it[Y]. Mine passed test with just the mid section in, however when I had it tested with both off it was not be out to much, if it failing by as much as you suggest is it running too rich?

I also have an original downpipe cat (MY99 classic) - you're welcome to borrow it, and no urgency to get it back straight away (I have a sport cat downpipe and decat centre on mine now, so no MOT probs, but keeping the original just in case I ever put the car back to std). I'm 5 mins off junction 7 M62 if it's any use....

PM me if your still stuck... I know of a place I can take them to without cats... shhhhh!!!

Mine was well over on emissions... no way I was gonna put it back to standard... lol[<;))]

Passed on everything else, so they sent me the local shop for a pint of milk while the MOT cert was printed off...[;)]
