cusco kid Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 knockhill was complete shambles today total track time of 30 mins. a car dropped oil at duffis dip and it took them nearly 2 hours to clean up. the orginisation of the events are getting worse and some of the staffs attitudes sucks. i asked a mem /of staff how long was it going to take, at that time it was about 2 hours he fired back at me saying he was sick of punters moaning , and was not letting us back on the track till it was cleared so stop moaning .i told him in a nice manner to go away in short jerky movements.i dont think ill be back to hot hatch days again SIDC days here wee come GEO[][H]
GaryD Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I was up aswell, not in the scoob tho. Totally agree was a utter shambles, havent been up to watch a hot hatch day for over a year and no wonder after yesterdays waste of time. Geo, was your car sitting up in the main area, got a private plate on it *** GEO?
col666 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Maybe if people didnt bring wrecks to put on track there wouldnt be oil spilled all over it, Its not really knockhills fault.
DR Motosport Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 My mate was there yesterday, he said it was an old classic type rally car that dropped the oil at Duffus Dip. The driver should have known better, but he then proceeded to drive it all the way back to the pits - still dripping oil. But I bet it wouldn't have taken them 2 hours, if it was a large racing event. "Sorry ITV could you delay all today's Touring Car races by at least 2 hours while we clean the track at our leisure"
cusco kid Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 hi m8 was this classic rally car green with sponsers decals on it
cusco kid Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 THE track subaru was mine, we spun out on duffis ,we were sitting in the start line when a car dropped its oil on the track, A blue punto or an old red ogle mini fiberglass car was the culprit we think, we saw them both recovered, I would not have complained if it was me that dropped the oil i would hid and kept a low profile but we sat for 2 hours twiddling our thumbs watching many marshals doing F E C K- A L L 30 mins track time in a full day do you call that value for money ,maybe on the planet zog or epsalon but not fife r.s.v.p GEO[:@]
