Advice Needed - Fitting an STi 8 intercooler to a Uk Turbo

Hi Guys,

I also seek some advice on the above. I have sourced an Sti8 intercooler which I intend to fit to MY00 Uk Turbo.

Is this as easy as standard one off and STI one on?

I know I will need a bigger diffuser to direct the air to the larger intercooler and possibly a bigger scoop.

The intercooler does not have the Y-piece, is this all I need to complete the installation?

Wow, too much hassle, any recommendations for an uprated top mount? Classic STi intercooler maybe??

GUTTED MATE, U TRYING TO Catch up. lol,

 

my car is up on the ramp, lol has been since sat, hopefully get new bearing tomoz but broke the abs ring today so need one before i can fit new bearing,

might be worth having a chat with the guys at awd, i seem to remember dave  used to have an sti4? intercooler on his my00 i think in part because he could mount the dump valve straight onto it. although i have the technical ability of an egg and may be totally wrong!
