JamesF Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 That's a cracking price !!! I'm getting mines replaced with a HELIX Organic clutch on Wednesday. Clutch is £400 plus VAT, fitting is quoted at 5/6 hours, skimming the flywheel and lightening it is £35 and a genuine subaru replacement spigot bearing for the flywheel is only £12. If your doing your clutch I cant stress enough how important it is that you get the flywheel skimmed, if you don't, bring on the judder when your taking, off every time [] I'm not a mechaninc but understand that it's a pretty serious job. 5/6 hours is by someone that does them day in/day out.If you've still got the standard CAT on that has to come off too to allow you to get the gear box out. James.

william_young Posted November 12, 2006 Author Posted November 12, 2006 is an exedy clutch the best to go for . the car is standard apart from a rear silencer and filter it really gonnna be doing much to it in the way of power gains would an oe clutch be around the same price
