Removed my resonator box today from the inner arch liner on the drivers side for better air flow. As a bonus I can now hear the turbo sucking like mad and the wastegate chirping away like (well almost) a rally car.

I tried to remove mine but couldn't get the top bolt off the liner.

Was also worried about the water getting in.

The intake to the filter box is high enough not to worry about water penetration mate. just cut around the plastic then and leave that bolt in place.

Was at hypertec yesterday getting geometry done and was talking to Duncan about whatd mods to do next.  He mentioned removing the resonator box.  Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Mines is all gone now i've fitted an APS induction kit and much whoosing/sucking and chirping []

Took about half an hour and no fancy tools.
