Chimune Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 I just did my 1st trackday on sat @ Khill with SIDC. Just wanted to say i thought it was really well run and very friendly. Many of you may have see me in my green Chimaera pulling over to let you all past, but give me a couple more trackdays and ill be waving at you all out of the side window ! [] The TVRCC Scotland recomended the SIDC trackday to me saying the driving standards were high and w***y driving wouldnt be tolerated. I was impressed and hope to do some more in the future. I may not post here very often ( i already post to far too many forums !) but just wanted to say hi and thanks to John. Cheers Simon Corrado VR6, 5L Chimaera Edinburgh
STi_Bandit Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Hey mate, i was the newbie on the track you met coming out of the drivers briefing with our post it notes., i hope you had a good time mate []
fai17 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Hi there and i was on track too...happy that you enjoyed it too[Y]
ANDYJDMSTI Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Good to see the SIDC track days getting the thumbs up from nice marques like TVR. Welcome.
st3ph3n Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 That was a nice car you had mate. You're welcome back on the SIDC days any time. I was talking to some of the lotus guys at the end of the day when getting my wheels changed over and they were saying the SIDC days were the best in terms of driving standards, machinery and organisation. A testament firstly to JohnS and secondly to the sidc as a whole.
scoobaroo Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Thanks would have to go to John S. and the K/Hill staff for making an event like this possible in the first place, these guys do a marvellous job. Would also like to say, the ontrack driving was of the highest order, when you consider what power some of these machines are puting out. Hopefully this wont be your last S.I.D.C. trackday [] See you next time Simon [] Marty.
