st3ph3n Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Despite being really busy they squeezed me in for an oil change this evening so the car is now ready for Knockhill on Saturday (3 sleeps to go!). It was much to Duncan's annoyance as he can't go. Such a friendly and helpful place with a real passion for what they do, and great service as normal [y]
sma01 Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 agreed mate, top class service, hopefully not too much longer now til he has mine back together.... scott
craigwrx Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Yep, love that place, all great guys and Duncan's wife is most helpful too .. How much did they charge for the oil change Stephen ? ...if u don't mind me asking .. Craig []
st3ph3n Posted October 5, 2006 Author Posted October 5, 2006 Ehhhhh. Good question. I'll check when I get home rather than speculate from my useless memory. I remember the total, but part of that included fitting that last sensor for me. That gallery plug is a pure bastttt to get out, but now I have my oil temp gauge working nicely too. Thanks to spooks for doing the rest of them of course, and me for doing the interior stuff, but lidl socket sets wont shift something torqued to hell. I found it quite hard to resist the Cusco slam panel/cool rad and various other shiny bits that were on display. I'm a sucker for things like that.
fai17 Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Go on St3ph3n get the bling/shiny stuff[H].... ow much for ther Cusco slam panel?
st3ph3n Posted October 5, 2006 Author Posted October 5, 2006 Think it was £90 or there abouts Peter. Shiny stuff - hopefully some good stuff start of next year. []
