Guest greegsy Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Or anyone off the forum up to it? Bought carbon fibre sti6 rear spoiler and sti8 carbon scoop for my classic at the weekend from stripe off this forum. Got the scoop on no probs but as far as fitting the spoiler goes only 2 holes seem to line up with existing holes. Don't mind drilling 2 more holes as long as they would be covered by original spoiler if I decide to put that back on at a later date. Not keen on tackling this myself cos I'm guaranteed to f£ck it up big style and end up with a 20 piece spoiler held together with superglue! Any ideas/help appreciated. Greegsy
wrxmania Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Derek @ A F Nobles Subaru Bodyshop is very good []
cullenmin Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 How easy was the scoop to fit as I was pondering on the idea of getting an STi 8 scoop for MY00 classic? Rich
stripe Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 The Scoop is a piece of p*ss mate, just a case of removing some bolts, taking off the old one putting new one on and putting the bolts back on, very easy mate
st3ph3n Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 That's a scoop meant to fit though. The STI8 one isn't. DR Motorsport or similar will sort you out with a larger STI style scoop built to fit the classics.
cullenmin Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Thanks stripe, Thanks St3ph3n, thats the kind I would be after [] Rich
stripe Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 The CF one I sold Greegsy was an STI8 scoop mate, and like a say was very easy to fit, I would give Scoobyworld a shout, they are good too
