gambler Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Off on a trip to the ring and spa next month. Looking for another set of wheels for my classic. I have brembo brakes off new age fitted so would need somthing to fit over them. Do the classic and new age have a different offset? If so what offset do i need? Does anyone have a set of wheels that would do the job. Not looking for anything really fancy as i only really use the car on track days
st3ph3n Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Lucky boy Scott. Spa and The ring, quality. Good luck through Eau Rouge! I've never fully understood wheel offsets but the stanard STI rims on a new age are 17x7.5 with 53mm offsets. PCD is 100 for all Imprezas except the 05 and 06 STI which is 114.3. Have a read here and maybe that should help - http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=335263
gambler Posted September 27, 2006 Author Posted September 27, 2006 Thanks St3ph3n. That link did help. Its something i found a bit confusing. Spare aloys from my 04 wrx did scrape a bit on my classic. Unfortunately the wheels on the classic when i got the car do not fit over my brembos Cant wait for the ring. Its like track day mecca. Everyone should go there once. I just hope im still alive and have a car to go back with. Think ill just take my time the 1st few laps and build the speed up.
