CHILDREN IN NEED CONVOY

For the fourth year running, the ESC will be helping Scoobycity in supporting the BBC's Children In Need appeal, with their now-famous, and magazine featured Charity Convoy through Norwich City Centre.

If you've never been on this before, you've missed out on one of the most satisfying, enjoyable and worthwhile events of the year.........where else would you get a convoy of dozens of Scoobs, creating havoc by taking over the city centre roads, making a complete spectacle of themselves, whilst raising money and doing it all with the support of the Norfolk Constabulary?

Last year, we had about 50 cars, and raised several thousand pounds, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves into the bargain.

Once again, this year we will have full support from the Norfolk Constabulary (with many thanks to Dirty Harry .44), with a Police liveried Scooby and Evo to lead the convoy, and to block off the junctions, roundabouts etc so we can enjoy uninterrupted progress through the city.

We will again park up for a regroup/pose/picture opportunity in Gentlemans Walk, and get out and about with the collecting buckets to get even more money.

Sponsor forms are available from the BBC Children In Need website , so you can go around your friends, family and co-workers to get them to donate to this most worthy of causes.

Morning......nice to see you guys getting involved. Went along with Kent Scoobies last year and its a real buzz driving round Norwich, being flagged across red traffic lights with a police liveried scooby at the front. Not to be missed and apart from that its for a good cause [] See you there unless you're planning on travelling up with Kent and Essex

I'm travelling up from mid wiltshire to meet up with the kent lot at about midday, then travelling through the tunnel (great laugh), and meeting up with the essex crew, then going up to norwich, if anyone wants to travel up with me, we'll arange something
