Bing Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Peeps, I have brembo callipers and 330mm discs to go on my 02 WRX. Does anyone know if my exisitng calliper mounting bolts will do the trick? And how about the brake lines - do I need any special fixings as the callipers didnt come with any? AND finally, if I was to buy goodridge hoses which ones would I require? Cheers
higgy Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Hey bud the brembos should bolt right on ,with no mods required. Go to your dealer and order up 4 new mounting bolts to be on the safe side. Phone up Russel ae eden subaru and he will sort you out with wat yo uneed 01334 657 400 Higgy Ps make sure you dont have 114 pcd discs.
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Cheapest Braided Hoses here my good man http://www.asptrading.co.uk/acatalog/GOODR...CAR_BRAKES.html Dunno about brackets and stuff though ! CGS
fai17 Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I got my rear hoses there...service was spot on and next day delivery too
WUZ Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Brakes and discs will fit straight on M8 - Front hub on the WRX and STI on a newage are the same. As already said, Alyn @ AS Performance will sort you out. Fitting sorted? Russell
craig mac Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Wuz I take it the different PCD of the wheel studs is not an issue then? As the 05 Sti has a 114 pcd and not the 110 of the WRX Craig
WUZ Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Who said the brakes were from an '05? Russell
swanie Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Watch out for the off-set need correct wheels don't let that catch ya out

Bing Posted September 19, 2006 Author Posted September 19, 2006 Thanks guys, I'll probably go for braided hoses too but I wasnt sure if my existing 'banjos' would fit the new callipers - I understand they dont however. Discs have already been drilled for 100pcd[]
