lescazscoob Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 right after graeme (fastscooby) gave me a row for not having looked into the scoobs running problems i decided to start today first off i was going to fit my new oversized top mount intercooler on removal of my standard one i noticed a black wire which has been severed looks like its an earth strap and is fitted at one end to the bit of the bulkhead where the engine steady/mount is and i cant see what its meant to be connected to it has been broken for a while by the looks of it as the break is dirty no fresh metal in sight. any help on this would be greatly appreciated i dont want to put it back together again to strip it all back off. cheers les i will update this post as i make progress
higgy Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 do you need a hand i am avalable at the mo if you are needing one. Higgy
jamie_wood Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 That wire is an earth. It is fixed at the pitch brace on the bulkhead and should then attach to the bellhousing around the pitch brace. There might be an eyelet where its been pulled out of. If not, just re crimp a new eyelt on and attach to anywhere in the same area.
