Better late than never!

My last rr day produced 289.5BHP and 243.9lbs torque

so down a bit now on last year

the RR op said it was running rich, to me it doesnt seem overly rich.

Is my boost normal? 16psi peak, falling to 15psi? I have a feeling that I may have a small boost leak.....

Surely the car should be seeing  more than 1 bar of boost? Its peaking at 1.1 and drops off to 1.03bar?

I would have thought it would have ran more boost than that[8-)]

Its not really the level of boost that I'm questioning....

I'm sure it's always ran approx 16psi since I've had it

Just the fact that it holds at 16 for a bit and then drops to 15ish and holds there....

I had a boost leak before from the pipe going to my boost gauge....I'm sure I can hear it leaking again...just havent got round to taking the pod off and checking it

it's in your mind Fee...boost is suppose to brop back and hold there....If you had a boost leak your holding psi will be alot more like 12psi...

I could be wrong tho[:P]

I'm pretty sure I do though....I can hear it...rather than trying to guess that I have a leak from looking at the graphs

I just havent got round to checking it yet.

I know that boost tends to peak and then hold lower...I just thouhgt it was a bit strange that it held and then dropped and held...if you know what I mean

well you have me confused by this comment.

You get a peak boost which it will hold but the further up the rev range you get it will tail off and hold a safer boost (like it should)......... what exactly do you find strange about that????

Exactley what I was going to say, nothing to be worried about

Hi Adam,

Sensor was fecked, just waiting on the running order on other thread to be updated & I will re-run all the cars (FOC) that used the faulty sensor (we swapped to a different probe for a different exhaust style 1/2 way through)

Cheers,

Gerry

I dont necessarily find it strange...I just wasnt sure if it was normal...

My last rr printout didn't have a boost graph....so I have nothing to compare it with.

All I wanted to know is if it was normal....hence why I asked [:D]
