Gives up his month off from his working rota to tune and help people with ther cars Am sure that the people that know the quality and craftsmanship that you apply to Subaru's and have done for a lot longer than anyone else in the Aberdeen area will not stand around and allow this to happen Wuz. How many other people/mechanics do you know will be working on a car while his wife is giving birth to there first child, because his customer has a deadline/booking with Andy F The praise from Andy F alone outways any slaggings or stick you receive from anyone else and the subaru community know this. You are held in the highest regard by Andy F of all people let alone the people you have done work for. You are only remembered for your last bad job, a statement true in any industry..........I have yet to hear a bad one about BHP Developments.....and i know i am not alone in that either You are a freind to everyone who knows you Russell, yeah actually really knows you, and you are of a bigger value to all Subaru owners than anyone else in this area, Look at the string of top class cars you have produced, Boshakalaka - Marc, Gumball, Cal and of late myself. Am sorry pal but i/we will not allow you to roll over and give in to this small minded attitudes and bitchy comments from people who "claim" to know better. We know the truth you are an asset to our community a huge assest and you as a person are better than this to roll over and give in. Fek them all Wuz you are succesfull because of your knowledge and your skills also the cars people drive that you have modded. That is why you ar busy 24/7 when home on leave....booked up months in advance... So get a grip and give yourself a shake man Craig

I'm off to bed now and I'll have a think about over the shift tomorrow (CBL/USIT log prior to mini DST, so I'll have loads of free time) and speak to the wife and ask her opinion. Like I said on WUZ' original post I don't know the man but by f*ck do I know OF him, reputation takes time to build and it's obvious by the posts on here that WUZ has the kind of reputation that others can only dream of. Hopefully with a good nights kip in him (assuming wee Erin hasn't kept him up all night !) we'll see some positive news from Russell at some time today []
Boyakasha Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Sweet Jesus what has been going on, I have know Russell for many years now and there have been times when certain people have tried to throw muck on his reputation and it was all BS at the end of the day. This guy is as commited as anyone I have ever know, he helped me so much when I was doing my car not only with the cost of parts but the sound advice on which routes I should follow. We have had our moments like the time we were rebuilding my car at 01:00 and words got heated, but we kissed and made up and I couldn't ask for a better friend. When Angela was due to have the baby and they had both just moved house Russell was still finding time to work on peoples cars, I may not have been there but guaranted he would have been working into the early hours. You get a lot of BS in the tuning game but Russell never attempts to give you pub figures or sell you something that the car doesn't need, I would say that if he didn't spend so much time on other peoples cars and put the effort into his own one then it could be one of the best in the country. Russell listen to what everyone is saying mate, you are a credit to the Abz Scooby Community and your reputation proceeds you. Folk that haven't even met you are asking you to stay so that to me says a lot. Since I sold my car I have missed the crack and part of me is a bit lost hence why I am looking to get back into the Scoob game, if you give it up then I couldn't see myself getting another one. Looking forward to seeing you when you get back. Don't give it up m8 Marc

Where is the backing other "modders" in this area get? is there any? We know the answer to that Dont let the barstewards grind you down............. Stand tall and proud m8 you are the best in this area, working from your own garage at your house too, no workshop and fancy ramps, Do you need it? do you fek. WUZ Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 You were never out M8! unless your coming "out" now?[] Based on the overwhelming display on the part of everyone on here, I think it would be best to stay doing what I am doing on but in a slightly quieter capacity. ie, I'll stay high profile with all that want to use me but will shy away from questions involving other Abereedn tuners for fear of more repercussions. You guys have helped me so I feel the need to stay here and return the favour to all who ask for my help! Were here to stay......................for a while anyway. I am glad to hear that you are not downing tools and as Craig said put the finger to all that deserve it. I am looking forward to the next SIDC shootout at Japerformance to see the improvement in Craigs car from the last RR I attended there.
