william_young Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 got my car in june had it 20 days the crank seal went, took it the garage i got it from they put it out to a third party garage to fix it and it has last till tonight . gonna do it myself this time getting seriously pissed off with the car and wishing i had never bought it so has anyone done a seal on theres before its a 95 uk turbo with air con does anyone know of anything i should watch for or do any advice would be great i have the chris palmers home page with the manuels already started to strip it and have got annoyed so ive had to leave it .time to have a beer and forget about it lol

william_young Posted September 11, 2006 Author Posted September 11, 2006 its away to kenneth melvilles at errol between dundee and perth they are a subaru dealer got quoted £160 +vat phoned fikans (sp) in forfar they wanted £300 and didnt say if that was with vat forgot to ask to was shocked with the price difference . even if it included vat its a £100 different . shocking hopefully it will be back within a couple of days . iam missing it cant get use to the 1.4 207 that ive got just now
