steven_williams Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I would say it is more to do with your car now breathing easier low down so the pickup is a bit sharper and as the speed increases, the gearing gets higher and the laws of physics due to aerodynamics come in. the feeling of rate of acceleration seems to reduce. I hate to think what my car would be like if the acceleration at higher speeds was as quick as the acceleration in lower gears. Would love to experience it.
rapidcossie Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 fiting a freeer flowing filter and NOT getting the fueling checked is recipe for disaster on a scoob... its prob detting its tits of that why its slower?
Guest AlanK Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 eeek - now 1 post has me happy and makes sense, yet the other post has me cacking myself.... Well cant drive for over a month now after having my ACL fixed yesterday so will try it out in October and try to compare both filters...
G.Mac Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I doubt that a pannel filter by itself would cause the car to det its **** off, an induction kit on the other hand... Graeme
harvey_smith Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Put the old filter back on the car and see how it performs. The O/E filter gives good filtration ability AND good performance.
