Pace Intercooler?

Thinking of getting a FMIC and have been looking at the Pace one, was wondering if anyone out there has one on a classic or what people's views on this kit are?

Never had one but the general concensus is that the Hybrid FMIC was a lot better. Pace had some bad publicity a few years back but things may have improved or they may not have.

In My honest opinion, having owned one of these kits. Pace Products are utter shat. I blew an intercooler oval which was rated to 2 bar and my car was never over 1.5 bar.

The radiator is rubbish and very inefficient at cooling and the pipework is ill fitting.

The boys with FMIC will point you in the right direction, mine is a wrc one so it cost an arm and a leg, but there are plenty of efficient ones out the at good prices.

I read the same reviews and listened to Wilky's comments and bought a hybrid one. Can't do better for the money IMHO.

Over-rated in my opinion as they are splitting open their endtanks at WAAAAAAAY below rated pressure.

Pick something else M8. Hybrid is holding itself well as a good alternative.

try Andy.F he does them for a very reasonable price, i was going to get one of his till i picked up a bargain from somebody else.. if it`s comming from andy i can bet it`s going to be a decent one []
