A question of suspension.

Due to the new sound system about to be fitted into my boot, over 85Kg worth. the back end will/going to drop down about 30-50mm (I hope it's not more of a drop).

Now do I

1. Fit lowering springs to the front to match the drop

or

2. Fit uprated struts to the back to carry the extra weight, if so which ones would be recommended.

Answers on a postcard please to the normal address... or just reply here.

My answer would have to be "Stop being a pimp and leave it as it is"

That weight is not going to lower your car even vaguely like the drop you have quoted !!

That's weird then as the current system only weights about 40Kg and the car dropped by over 20mm at the back. This was check by measuring from the centre of the hub to the arch on the rear wheels compare to a standard wrx300 and the drop was over 20mm. Might need to get Subaru to check the back struts out then.
