RA Dunk Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 i need to put on my new wheels before i fit them for better protection or is a normal whel wax sufficient enough?
oobster Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Poorboys Wheel Wax is supposed to be the product to use. I've got a tub of it myself, only got it yesterday though so not got around to using it. You can get it for about £11 or thereabouts from www.polishedbliss.co.uk

craigwrx Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I use the same stuff as Andy ...i take my wheels off the car every 3 months or so, complete clean then two coats of Poorboys World Wheel Sealant. Makes life so easy then to keep clean [Y] http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...N%3AIT&rd=1
wrxmania Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Yes - another vote for Poorboys wheel wax - my wheels have done 2500 miles now and not been intensively cleaned at all - washed once in that time and they are pretty much gleaming (but the weather has been quite good). Three coats of Poorboys Wheel Wax (STI Pink [] ) - take the wheels off, clean them to withinan inch of their life and then build the wax, preferably in the sun to help it bond. Brian []
