Peter was running a baileys but he had a new forge one to fit.

But the chirping you hear on his car is the wastegate, not the DV.

I'm assuming you mean a noise as heard on here - http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...amp;q=wastegate

Well Peter's car doesn't have an external wastegate and it makes the noise as I experienced it on Saturday night.

Is it not caused by the DV not being able to vent quickly enough because you're running such high boost? So the turbo is still chopping the air up and you get the lovely sound?

I'm sure someone with a clue might be along soon to answer.
