Following the success of the Stonehaven Autocross and the sterling job performed by the Aberdeen boys I wondered if any of the Tayside or Fife members would want to help out next week. The organiser has sent this out.

"The Autocross is now at Ballindean near Inchture, take the slip road for Inchture straight on then first left which is signposted for Teen Ranch and Ballindean about a mile down that road you will see the field on the left the entrance is right opposite the entrance to Hilltown of Ballindean, I will have it well marked with the usual orange arrows."

All are welcome and if anyone wants to know what fun it is pm some of the Aberdeen boys.

Tried out your autocross track earlier Iain[:D] in a BMW X5[:D]

Was that you setting it up this afternoon? I went passed in a little Italian sports car!

Fantastic track! Big,wide, flat, open field which really stretched the cars. The weather was great and some very fast cars out. John Wights golf was blisteringly fast. the only problem was the dust.

Pics tomorrow and maybe video.

This shed was once a VVC engined coil-overed super fast race car. It had just had an endo.

All in all a great day with 25 entries, some very fast cars and a really demanding track which really tested the driving. The only downside was the dust which stopped us running 2 at a time. Hello to Graham who popped in to see what was going on.
