slo2 Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Me brakes are still not completed, will make another attempt on Friday , Im suppost 2 be on holiday and the kidz just dont find fixing subbies as exciting as swimming , gokarting , pictures, ice skating, braehead, transport museaum, kelvingrove museaum.,science centre,Millport, ammusement arcades in Largs, Xcape, PACE, .............never ask your kids what they want to do during the holidays. I should manage to get the bolts out going to buy some of those fancy spanners that grip the flat bits instead of the corners (if u know what I mean)
euan_r Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 get the irwin spiral sockets mate you`ll definatly get them out with those theyre brill.
bigdavie Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 if you want i'll come up on friday and get it done for you mate i'll just bring my moleys and my man arms !!!!
slo2 Posted August 2, 2006 Author Posted August 2, 2006 If thats what theyre called , I just know what they look like, and what they do. Drapper, and silverline, and Hallfords are crap. Even my Facomm socket will turn because its now so round!!! This is the reason why Im not a mechanic I hate it when the silly little things go wrong. A 10 min job takes for hours and when u brake a bit u then need to wait 24hrs on getting spares and you cant afford to have the car of the road for more than a day . Thanks for the help. Glad ton c things got back to normal after last week end!!!
slo2 Posted August 2, 2006 Author Posted August 2, 2006 if you want i'll come up on friday and get it done for you mate i'll just bring my moleys and my man arms !!!! Cheers mate. Ill give u a call am to arrange when suits u. By the way i didnt round the nuts by tickleing them you know!!!
