z1000 Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Hi after someone who can photoshop my bike in a different colour scheme. I'd luv to know how to do it but thats a project for long winter nights.
john mac Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 I'm not too great with photo shop myself ,but heres a clever tutorial site that might be of interest to you. http://www.digimods.co.uk/tutorials/tutorials.htm
z1000 Posted July 30, 2006 Author Posted July 30, 2006 Looks addictive but i don't even have photoshop :-(
z1000 Posted July 30, 2006 Author Posted July 30, 2006 Anyone ? there must be someone here who knows how to do more than connect to the net with their pc unlike me.
thewelsho Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Just as a suggestion... Shouldn't you post a pic of your bike and then state what you'd like done with it first, then see if there are any takers? John
G.T. Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 4hero is the resident photoshop expert but hes away on a dirty weekend this weekend. you could always pm him with a pic of your bike and what you would like
z1000 Posted July 31, 2006 Author Posted July 31, 2006 Here's my bike as it is now. Thought this one might be easier to do as it's closer to the colours. And this is the colour scheme i'm thinking of, identical to my old bike. Would appreciate anyone help with this before i get the paintbrush out . Cheers Steve
FastScooby Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Must of been snowing really hard as i cannot see the bike [:S][]
z1000 Posted July 31, 2006 Author Posted July 31, 2006 Forgot to add i'd luv one of the scooby in them colours too
johnnyr6 Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Ahh, the old kwaker colours, hard to tell how it'd look but if it was my bike i'd leave it as is, it looks great anyway and painting it will only devalue it anyway.
thewelsho Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Looks addictive but i don't even have photoshop :-( Photoshop costs an arm and a leg - several hundred notes. However, there is an alternative and legal solution. You can purchase Photoshop Elements for about £40/£50 and it will allow you to do most of the stuff you see done on here (not including 4Hero's award winning stuff, but he's a geek anyway! []). Furthermore, if you are buying a new printer or other peripheral (graphics tablet) check out the free software, you may possibly get a bundled version. John
z1000 Posted August 1, 2006 Author Posted August 1, 2006 Such big pictures ... Over to you Neil! J I don't even know how to resize them so what chance have i with photoshop !?! I luv it as is but loved my old bike also so just a mad idea, I'm sure the scoob would look great but i think her indoors sense of humour could fail if i painted that.
4Hero Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 lime is a nightmare [6] Sorry mate, this is my best shot []
z1000 Posted August 1, 2006 Author Posted August 1, 2006 Thanks for trying maybe i'll get the prittstick and scissors out LOL
thewelsho Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Oh! You click on the tiny little pics and they link to much larger, more usable ones! DOH! What an a55!
