Apexi Power Fc

Im gona buy an Apexi Power Fc an it says they're basicaly plug an play i just wana know if anyones just stuck it in an driven without it being mapped an did it run alright? or am i best to wait until i can get it mapped before i fit it?

I just had a power fc fitted today by Andy F, he advised that the power fc does come with a base map but it's not 100% as each car is different that's way it's always best to get a custom map also that way you will get the best out of your car also.

PowerFC comes with a plug and play MAP that will run the car but it is a very aggressive MAP and leanish

Recommend waiting until the car is booked to be mapped before fitting it

The apexi comes with the default JDM map. so can be used as is.  i done this for 2 months before having my car mapped.

 

However if you have done a few other Mods, Decat, induction etc it is advisable to get it mapped.

For Mapping it, i would suggest you Contact Andy.F (Best Apexi Mapper in the Uk) and he is based in Cockenzie Near Edinburgh.

Might go on holiday to get mind done by him, got a Family caravan @ Seaton Sands 2 mins down the road.
