A good end to a short break

Was off all last week and also today. But I knackered my wrist last saturday and couldn't drive "in anger". I spent some of Friday and Saturday battering about near lanark on some good roads and my wrist was better, but I was carrying very important cargo, namely the bride and groom whos wedding it was on Saturday and couldn't really let rip.

SO, today with my wrist just about back to full working order I decided to go out for a wee jaunt to no where in particular. Went up to East Kilbride then onwards to Strathaven. Took the infamous Strathaven to Muirkirk road which was highly enjoyable. So enjoyable I had to stop for a refreshment as I was sweating like "the mujahadeen" as Wilky would say. Then headed along the A70 - my old stomping ground - back towards the Motorway then headed over to Lanark and took the top road home through Carluke etc.

A fine day was had by all (me) and I can now go back to work tomorrow without wanting to kill anyone.
