johns Posted June 1, 2001 Posted June 1, 2001 Venue: Raceland karting centre, near Edinburgh Raceland Date: Friday 22nd June, 2001 Time: 6pm to 9:30pm (approximately) Event: Two hour endurance race, in teams of 4 people, with pit stops and fuel stops. 30 minute practice session, followed by a non-stop 2 hour race to the finish line! Karts: Twin engined pro-karts, capable of 70+mph Circuit: Outdoor 930m track, with a variety of fast sweeping corners and tight hairpins. Very challenging, and very enjoyable! Teams: 4 drivers per team, each must drive for the same amount of time. You can make up a team of 4 drivers, or enter as an individual, and we'll place you in a team with three others. Maximum of 17 teams (ie 68 drivers!) Cost: Only £30 per driver. Contact: myself for a booking form, or more info

Crailthrasher Posted June 2, 2001 Posted June 2, 2001 Looking forward to this one too!!! We have 3 teams of Crailthrashers entered, all evenly matched. Probably nae chance of winning (too many fatties ), so will be racing for the accolade of fastest thrashers team!! See you's there Dave B.

johns Posted June 22, 2001 Author Posted June 22, 2001 LOL Doogsy Simon - haven't booked one yet. Would suggest the usual one (Himalaya), if someone can book a table for 10pm for 12 - 16 people please. I'm not local, and don't know the numbers etc and will be busy all day tomorrow (ie not at work).
