classic; electric aeriel

might sound trivial, but does the electric aeriel on classic import. go all the way down to sit flush with the mount. mine goes down, but still is stiking up about 6 inches. doesn't appear to be kinked. is this normal or am i too fussy. thanks, martin

mine went all the way down, flush, but like my fuel flap i broke it... now just listen to the exhaust as the soundtrack... grudge paying 200 plus vat for an elecy aeriel from scoobaru

oh well!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do halfords or the like not do a compatible type aeriel, as like you say £200 is a definite 'thanks, but no thanks' response.

Try a bit of wd40 on it first. before binning it.

aye if the rest of it is working it will probably be something came loose or a bit o gunk or even the nylon actuator maybe jumped a couple of teeth !!
