Well either way, If you are not in court pleading it then there is no chance of a ban... Youve got to be present in court for that...

Dunno about fines, but I think 5 Points....  £80....

I think A sweeper is in order!!!!  [:P]

Bad news like...

Could be worse tho, Being banned from driving Sucks Big A$$!!! I know..... From Experience....  [:|]

Well thats how I got caught too... the last time... Hmmm... That dont sound good....  But anyways, did they have a go at you, Coz as Much as I hate it, I'd much rather that then being pinged by a camera...

At least when I got pulled the copper in the car (there was only one!) Was very complementary about my riding.... dont really think that was much compensation for 50days and £270...

I reckon the magistrate got laid the night before....  [:P]

either way mate, I think you are going to feel this one on your insurance.... when do your points expire? 3 years they last for... Keep meaning to get my expired points off my licence...

Points expire after three years but remain on your licence for a further year. However, insurance companies ask for details of accidents, claims and convictions in the last 5 years. How they get away with that, I have no idea. If the law discard them after 3, why should be punished by insurance companies for a further 2 years?

Does this get sent to a PF and they decide, I guess it could depend on circumstances. If it is a 40 in a built up area then they will not look kindly at it however if it is one of these 40mph dual carriage ways in the middle of no where you may be lucky.

Good Luck

OUCH! Bit of a sore one! It's a wonder why they don't give us a buy-back points option. That way they'd raise more cash!
