oletam Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Any of you guys can advise on making my conservatory coller in summer and warmer in winter. I've looked at a film that attaches to the polycarbonate roof and also a device called solar inserts which appear to slide inside the panels and cut out uv in summer and reflect heat back in winter. Any advise/comments welcome.
ANDYJDMSTI Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Summer...........buy some fans!! Winter.............buy some heaters!! Probably not what you were looking for but hey ho............keep it simple in my eyes! []
dougster Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Grow tomatoes in the summer and stick a sunbed in there in winter. I like both.
SEEVERS Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 The solar inserts work a treat but you have to slide em in 1 by 1 with a narrow bit of plastic.....took me and my mate a day and a half to cover a 3' x 3' conservatory. Del. p.s...if you rip one you need to pull it out and start again........nightmare..!!!
