vicki Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Wilky I have a small draper angle grinder, but no discs. If you want a loan its no problem []
craigdmcd Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 I've got a 4.5" one you can use, and you can have a shot of my angle grinder as well (boom, boom). Seriously, in all night, welcome to come and collect it - I'm just off the EK express way (drag-strip, call it what you want). I'll PM you my mobile number Craig
vicki Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 I am away to measure mine. But I do know its brand new [] lol 115mm disc blah blah
craigdmcd Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Oh, untouched, now that sounds nice, I guess it's clean as well then.
STi_Bandit Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Hi Callum, We have an angle grinder in the garage, the cutting disc of rubbished and would need replaced but the grinder pad looks ok, it about a 4" disc maybe 4.5" Martin
vicki Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Oh, untouched, now that sounds nice, I guess it's clean as well then. It's spotless Craig, thank you very much []
wilky Posted June 27, 2006 Author Posted June 27, 2006 In in Stirling, Thanks for the offers. Im going to buy one cos Ill need it again, but thanks for your help Callum
craigdmcd Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Callum, wise choice just to buy one (B&Q probably the best bet), as it would have cost youas much in fuel to come and borrow it. Vicki, nice to here that it is spotless, no-one likes to touch it if it's manky. BTW, what do you drive so I can look out for you when out and about. You'll see me in either (or rather hear me) a Silver Legacy GT-B or an 04 WR Blue WRX that looks more or less like a STi. Craig
vicki Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 what do you drive so I can look out for you when out and about. You'll see me in either (or rather hear me) a Silver Legacy GT-B or an 04 WR Blue WRX that looks more or less like a STi. I drive a silver classic, reg R500 BYN, with pink badge and as of Wendesday tinted windows - can't wait. I was in EK today [^o)]
john mac Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Like craigmcd says, you can buy one for buttons mate , i got one out of Argos believe it or not with a few discs(4.5") for about £13, Its not Snap -on by any means, but i have used it for some serious heavy duty work and its paid for itself 10 times over!!
craigdmcd Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 I'm actually up in West Craigs (you know the bit that the posh folk like to call Hamilton, but it's really "Hi Blantir"). No doubt I'll spot you out and about.
vicki Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 I am in Burnbank [] I was just thinking there .... how the heck do I think you live in EK ..... think it was when we were all talking 'anglegrinder' and you mentioned the whirlies .... [^o)]
john mac Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Ohh,i think i've seen yer car up there craig,my mates not long moved up there,he drives a wee 172 clio with Cup reg. number!! Nice hooses by the way[]
craigdmcd Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Yeah, there nice, but built like sh1te. They've got an outstanding view though. Vicki, I think coz I put a bit about being just off the EK expressway is why you thought I was in EK.
st3ph3n Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 I do enjoy the EK express way. Some good corners. Plus it leads to the raith interchange where I enjoy all the curves the roundabouts offer.
yogibear Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 You can borrow my 16" petrol paddy saw if your not feint hearted
Gumball Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 i have a 300mm stihl saw if you want that? you can use it to cut through your cable when youve finished, pipe
