Criss Posted July 3, 2006 Share Posted July 3, 2006 Optimax for life! or until someone decides to sell decent 100octane (cough cough) (hint hint BP) [<)] Put a tank orf the 99 in and it ran like a 1.2diesel [] On cold starts it was juddering and not smooth, at top end it was just not making the exhaust pop and it wasnt a very nice smell like you get from the optimax stuff [:S] Always use shell for petrol and tescos for food not the other way round [] Link to comment

ian_rowburrey Posted July 4, 2006 Share Posted July 4, 2006 Read an article in EVO mag i think, dont quote me, and they tested all the super and premium unleaded fuels including optimax and the 99oct tesco stuff. Overall the optimax came off as the best fuel and i thnk, if i remember correctly, it produced more power than the tesco fuel when run in the same engine! If i can find it i will dig out the article.
