Which Remap way to go

im pretty sure that anti lag and launch control are built into the ecus of  04/05 sti s but not activated,but they can be with ecutek remap

Lol launch control surley not, that a case of holding the throttle down and let it go, might give Andy F a wee email see if anti lag is on the 04/05 Ecu's

My UK classic has a only got a few bolt-on bits and bobs []-

and it eats most STIs . . . .

. . . Since Andy Forrest remapped it.

Guy I know went for an EcuTek Re-Map from Andy F in his 2002 Bugly STi and had a Launch Control Level dialled in..... was shaaaaat, revs dropped too much, so it was hit or miss whether or not he bogged at line. However, he made very very good power and the car has done him proud at Crail too.. so the map itself cant be faulted. [H]

Wouldnt bother with GEMS to be honest, over indulgance for anything less than very highly modified cars and even then.. I'd probably go for a MoTec instead. []
