mckelvr Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 my scooby has sat for a couple of days.. when i went out tonight to start it up i noticed lots of white/gray smoke coming out the exhaust and i mean lots any ideas ,, does this mean the turbo is on the way out
bigdavie Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 alright grant ?? personally mate i would check your fluids oil and water and make sure they havent mixed also just check you are still getting heat from your heaters hth mate
RS Grant Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Take it to a specialist mate... my MY99 did that when I blew my 1st engine in it. Not saying thats what you've done, but sounds very similar to my problem... Covered the whole road and surrounding field in smoke/steam out of my exhaust. [] Cheers, Grant
scoobyseller555 Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 did you have the car running prior to this without actually driving it,could be just moisture/fuel build up in exhaust, get that a lot with new cars because of so much stop start driving, Gav
mckelvr Posted May 16, 2006 Author Posted May 16, 2006 cheers guys i think its because ive had a full decat exhaust fitted too you can see the condensation now instead of the cat absorbing a lot of it i took it out today and gave it some serious wellie then came back home smoke all gone thank god scoob lives to fight another day grant
M8JOF1 Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Well Grant I think it may be because you have silver wheels on the car just now instead of big gold ones, common problem wi they RAs they dont like it.
mckelvr Posted May 17, 2006 Author Posted May 17, 2006 hooow pasta i,ll fling you aboot like an empty shell suit

dan_jess Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 It would seem that Jof is a part of the Mafia [] But i do agree with his comment, even if blue subaru's with gold wheels r common as muck []
