spooks Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Have a humble home cinema set up myself, nothing worse when it start to develop a fault . Sky + is famous for having sound probs, especially on there Dolby Digital transmitted movies. As fai said Id be removing everything and starting from scratch. Spooks
bigdavie Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 sussed it !! its my bloody telly speakers !!! now need to look out the receipt !! bit disappointed actually only had it since december !!
dougster Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 You don't need TV speakers if you have 'home cinema' system speakers. My Sony WEGA TV is set to zero with all sound going through 5.1/DTS receiver to Sony 4D pascal surrounds. EDIT: Do you have your Sky volume set too low with TV speakers having to go too loud to compensate?
bigdavie Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 no i know mate its just i only use the home cinema when watching dvd's mate as the standard speaker system on the tv was more than ample up till last night !! just tried your theory and sadly no it wasnt that !! i could always just run everything through the denon but as my tv is still under warranty and after the amount of dough ive spent i want it all right you know ?? cheers for all the replies folks ! much apreciated !
