All I got as unfortunately the Rally was cancelled after that stage due to one of the drivers being killed on stage 2 [:(]

Dunno what happened but rumour at Rally HQ was that there was a bend on SS2 where a few cars had gone off, this lad had gone off at same spot and was outside his car when he got hit by another. (Apologies if this is totally wrong, was what my mate was told by a driver he knew in the rally)

Condolonces to the lads family and friends.

That pretty much what happened. We were on SS2 whan there was a big delay after about 10 of the 2nd group of cars came through (4WD cars). Marshalls were'nt sure what had happened, they just know the stage had been stopped.

Went to Alford to the service area, had a wee chat with Liam from Glenburgie who was running and a few other drivers I know.

Got to SS4 to be told that it was cancelled due to someone being killed earlier in the day.

SAD NEWS. My condolences the their family[:(]

Aye, that's where we were when we found out, as we walked up to Scolty Forest. Sad sad thing to happen on what was a cracking day an all.

Tragic news indeed, it was in fact a navigator who was killed.

Edited by myself until we have had an official announcement of the competitor.

Thoughts are with all friends, colleagues and family.

Such a sad and tragic end to such a great day.  Had my 3 year old daughter with me.  It was her first rally and she loved it.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.
