Gumball Rally - Sunday

Is anyone planning to turn out and watch this anywhere on route? It was raised on another thread but seems to have died so assume the answer is no.

Believe the cars are parked up on Pall Mall between 1 - 4 then leave for the tunnel between 4 - 6. Someone said about viewing along the M20 rather than go up town but that idea didn't seem to come to much. Looks like we're on a diy basis?

Theres some good bridges over the M20, where we could watch.

What are the times?

We should be on the bridge that takes you into hollingbourne so long as we get back in time[] parking not to much of a problem either[Y]

Just got back from the West End - missed the concourse , so much traffic and serious parking issues - stood on the corner of Piccadilly and watched the convoy go past. Mercs, Ferraris, Lambos, Noble, McLaren - unfortunately some of the exhausts put ours to shame although no flamers in sight [] If anyone out there wants to stump up £70k we could go next year - although that only covers 2 people it does include all your hotel costs, [ap] and and [D] and no doubt loads of [<)] - cheap for 8, yes 8 days !!  Perhaps we could put this on the list of 'to do' things []

Great pics - shame you can't have sound as well to fully appreciate them - I was at the top of  St James St as they pulled on to Piccadilly and there was a nice smell of burning clutch as some of them passed !  One of the Ferraris had to be pushed to the side of the road by the plod - teach'em to buy an Italian motor [] 

Dal, was that your motor just off Piccadily - gold scooby letters on the boot lid ?

Didn't see anything else wrong - mind you we didn't get up town til the last minute and spent ages going round and round looking for a space - thought it was your motor on one of one laps round the block []

Yes. It could have been worse if there hadn't been any room for me to try and get out of the way. Bloke was un-insured as well [8o|] And it was not a 'clear cut' incident in the eyes of insurance companies so its easier all round to cough up myself.
