My heeds like a beetroot! Great day at Crail, blue skies, sunshine, fast cars....sunburn[:o]

Anyway, quickest FWD car was a Honda Civic Type r, sounded sweet, cant remember time think it was a 13.3.

Quickest RWD was a Supra painted in Dyno rod Orange! looked amazing with a time of 13.2?

Quickest 4WD was a yellow Lancer Evo 6 with a time of 12.34sec very closely followed by our very own swanie in Woosh with a 12.36.

Spent most of the day standing in the centre of the drifting oval taking pics, luckily nobody got too close although i was ready on my toes a few times!

Decent day, weather was a turn up for the books considering the venue.

Did 2 runs, first one made an arse of it, rear wheels spinning off the line (so much for the trackbite) wobbled it a tad at the end of 1st, then missed 5th (close gears means you need all 5 to reach the end) and pretty much rolled the last 10 metres for a 13.6 @ 101 with a shockingly poor 2.28 60ft(for a 4wd) , oh well, 1st attempt.

2nd run, vs an EVO 5 or 6 ( I forget) with black bonnet and nitrous, neck and neck the whole way, Scooby in front by half a foot at most, had to change to 5th, he didnt, evo wins by an inch or so. I got a "no run", vid shows no red light for it so dont know what happened there, the time for the EVO was 12.88 @ 112mph with a 1.9 60ft, so my run can;'t have been to shabby either, was ahead/level till the last 50 metres when I shifted up as I said and was still very close. After this run there was a gaskety type noise from the scooby, and with horror stories of bottem end gfailures making me paranoid, I called it a day to be on the safe side, noise went away after the car had cooled down and is all running fine but better safe than sorry.

So, I went against all I stand for with cars lol, and entered the show and shine as a mate, Mr Malloy, had as always loads of cleaning stuff. I got the Best Subaru trophy (albeit the only scoobie in teh show and shine lol), he got the Best Nissan trophy and his wife got the "Most JDM" trophy for her Top Secret Toyota Vitz ( I think Vitz is the jap name for a Yaris, which is what it is, only with standalone management, a 1,5 VVTi engine with a supercharger etc, auto box, 160bhp etc)

Seen your Car Col, looking good, good to chat to Colin (PlaySatan) as well and have a gander at his STi Type R and all its goodies, look forward to seeing that in action soon. Nice RB5 was parked near me, from info on another forum his name was Ross as well, was looking tidy and various other scoobies running around as well. Enjoyed my first event in the new car lots.

heres the pics and vids, ignore the first run's cloud of white smoke from me, the bung doesnt let the condensation run out of the exhaust so it blew it all out on the first run I did (with the bung removed obviously) , click the first pic to play the video.

Looks like a great day im gutted i couldnt make it today, I would of thought there would have been a few more big powers cars on the strip,  swanies time of 12.36 is rather good for his every day runner, just wait for his demo car[:o]

Hi All good day for me and chloe

So close but so far away .002 of a sec away from bringing three years in a row banzai winners back to AWD motorsport

would have had the evo with another few runs but not to be , respect to yellow evo 6 that won.
