Just to post a wee thanks to DPH tyres in sunny Bathgate for sorting me out with a luverly set of new rubber today.

Giving the Falken ZE512's competition tyres a wee go (recommended by a friend in the tyre industry![Y]) and took them for a scrub in run and have to say they are better than the Bridgestones I had on and..........................they also fitted my centre section and decat pipe FOC[H][:)].

Nice Gus, iam just getting BF Goodrige "g-force" on the rear now hehe, how does the car sound with the centre section removed have you unleashed the flat four burble and cruising with your windows down [:)]

Look forward to hearing it, [:)] and a full write up report of the tyres. The tyres were gripping like buggery the day so nice n dry getting the hang maybe of AWD also

Martin,

Where you getting the BF's from? I'm sure Swifts in Whitburn or was it Auchinlea[:$] were doing them for £83 per tyre fitted n balanced.

Well worth trying them buddy!

Eh no! but he's away to Dumfries anyway[:)]

Try Auchinlea Tyres in Cleland (Newhouse then) sure it must have been them for the £83.

Much better Brian[Y]. Latest pattern 512's which are meant to be better than the originals (improved side wall reinforcement, reduced noise and better in wet is what they are quoting) but I havent had 512's before so cant compare. Deffo far better than the RE040's IMHO.

I'm happy[;)].........and free fitting on my exhaust too. £280 notes all in.

I spent the whole day out in the garage until 10 tonight clearing out all the junk and rubbish, and finally I can look in without stuff attacking me and all the racks are cleared, tools sorted, workbench cleared etc [:o]  Although the drain in the pit is a wee bit flooded - and we have a FROG in the pit - WHAT [:)]

Need to be taking it to the river tomorrow, poor thing.

Also, had to fix the front bumper on the Primera as a fox run across the M8 last night in front of me and smashed all the valace, fog light, and the under bonnet cover [:P]  Not quite the same now, with oodles of black paint, and black flexible silicone filler [:P]

Nevermind...
