Let the modding begin (part 2)

OK so the first thing to be done is the exhaust - I want one which lets out more of a Scooby sound but which won't give me a headache every day on the daily commute (and other longer journeys approx 22K miles per year) but also won't annoy the other partners at work.

Also at the same time should I get it de-catted and if so does it need a re-map?  How many more horses will this release?

And where to have it done?

As a reminder its a 52 plate bug eye with no other mods yet apart from cosmetic ones.

Any thoughts?

Firstly a decat will need a remap and if you are worried about noise a decat will p11s off your other partners as its loud.

 

Go for a scoobyworld afterburner vortex, i had 1 before my decat.

 

I went from a standard sti8 265 bhp to 343bhp and 332ftlb with a decat fuel pump custom zorst and a remap by prosport.

mines got down pipe decat, K&N panel filter and 5" jap style H&S Back box. And did 242 with a boost problem so should be about 248-250, with the rest decatted and remap Prosport said 300bhp. With a STi panel filter and uprated fuel pump.

unfortunatley good performance comes with good sound, no need for radios wind down the windows and its the best headache i ever get.
