bigbadboab Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 48hrs without a ciggy after smoking since 1990. It has been a very strange day at work as well with a total 'no smoking policy' in place inside AND outside.
ScoobyAndy Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Boab your not alone m8. Dropped from 30/day to nothing over night. Lastnight was really hard but todays not been too bad.
ANDYJDMSTI Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 nope not me!!...............stuff em all, if i wanna smoke and pollute the place then i shall. My right for living in a democracy []
ScoobyAndy Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Quite right Andy. I was and still am of the same opinion but I myself also wanted to quit again, so its really doubled up as a good excuse.

Hope you manage it buddy, i will probably give up at some point but as long as my ar$e still faces south just now then i will continue with gusto and vigour!!
Gumball Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 i was going to stop but then i thought.....no farking way. why should i? i actually enjoy smoking like a bandits barrel and giving gordon the burglar brown 70% tax goat fell
meko Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Well I'm off them for the, well about 6th or 7th time. I'm cheating though with 20 a day stuck to my arm. All this due to not wanting to stand outside the pub in the rain( you could start a umberella hiring company thought) Good luck everyone Michael
Gumball Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 good idea. get some cash and start a company that sells throwaway brollies from vending machines near the toilets in pubs and clubs. call it "why should u kill yourself AND get wet?" Fagbrolly
andy Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Went out in Edinburgh last night - with a colleague of Gumball's, strangely enough. Instead of the usual 20+ (emphasis on the +) while on the lash, I smoked 4 - and it didn't bother me in the slightest. Cheers Jack, this is gonna save me a fortune and put less in the Government coffers for you lot to waste.
st3ph3n Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I think someone already did the umbrella thing. It was on dragons den. We need all the money you can give us. £470m and the roof wont even stay in place. I feel well secure to be sitting on a 20 meter long Cantilever!
