AJA_WRX Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Just saying hello - I live in Nantwich and have just bought a WRX hatch in silver and am over the moon! Its my second Scooby as I also own a UK estate 1800 that is up for sale now. Have been into performance modifying for a while on other cars and am looking to make her a little bit faster with the usual mods and get her mapped up by the end of the year. I'll be interested to hear of any trustworthy specialists in the area also for stuff that I dont want to attempt. lol I have a WRX number plate so if you see me give us a toot!

1488 Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 ABP motorsport near Shavington do a lot of work on impreza's. Its behind the petrol station on the way to the M6. They seem to know there onions. Mind you saying that, I took mine there to have the timing belt changed and they broke the cover. Then I took it again to have new discs and pads fitted to the front and they sheared the bolt off the ABS warning probe.

I used them before for putting cams and a new clutch/ fidanza flywheel in my Nissan and they were decent but very expensive. John the owner will chat to you and is very helpfull and knows his stuff the other employees are on some kind of 'dont chat to customers' policy that probably works for efficiency but I find it unhelpfull and unfriendly. Just my experience. They are only 3 mins drive from me but i prefer to use mail order or even tweeks for parts due to £.
